Deities of Caeldor

In a world shadowed by ancient demons and forgotten evils, the people of Caeldor cling to the light of three gods..each sovereign over a distinct aspect of reality, each locked in a delicate balance of purpose, principle, and power. They are not a pantheon of camaraderie, but of tension, distance, and necessity. Their temples stand far apart. Their followers rarely mix. And yet, without all three, the world would tilt into ruin.

Demons of Caeldor

The Nature of Demons in Caeldor Demons originate from various planes of Hell, each ruled by powerful entities within the infernal hierarchy. While they serve themselves, they acknowledge a pecking order, and at the very top sits the King of Hell. Summoning a demon is never free. The price might be your service, your soul, or a task to spread their will. But demonic corruption does not spread... instead, demons aim to control and manipulate through power, deals, and influence. They can be banished, even killed, but not easily. Slaying a demon on the mortal plane only sends it back to Hell, forcing it to rebuild its power before it can return. Most mortals whisper about demons in fear, and though cult activity does exist, it remains hidden, operating in dark corners and forgotten ruins, away from the eyes of kings and churches..
